Position Purpose

Provides administrative, clerical and secretarial support to the uOBMRIs administration. Supports various teams in the successful execution of projects, events, initiatives and activities by ensuring that the necessary information, materials, logistical details and records are provided.

Essential Qualifications

Knowledge of administration and events planning normally acquired through a postsecondary education program or equivalent experience
Knowledge within an academic or medical environment preferred
Experience in an administrative role (Minimum of 2 years)
Experience in customer service with the ability to resolve questions and concerns in a fast-paced work environment
Experience in minute taking and ensuring actions from meetings are followed up
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to work as a team member and ability to multi task
Highly developed organizational and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to manage detailed work
High degree of initiative, assertiveness, courtesy, discretion and diplomacy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French is preferred

Note

Contract of approximately 12 months, with possibility of renewal. Eligibility to benefits will be determined upon hiring.

Schedule with an average of 35hrs/week.
