Position Purpose

Is responsible for initiating and growing strong business and student relationships in every industry sector and program of study, resulting in recommendations of effective strategies for each of these. Demonstrates vision and leadership in order to have a positive impact on the employment rate of Telfer School of Management graduates and, thus, on the provincial indicators of efficiency related to employment, six months and two years after the end of studies. Assists in the overall planning, organizing, and coordination of the Telfer School of Management Career Development Program.

Essential Qualifications

University degree, preferably in business
Excellent knowledge of public and private sector organizations, employment practices, trends, challenges and opportunities
Experience in generating new business and establish strong client relationships
Experience in customer service
Experience in developing and implementing strategies
Experience in working with computer systems and software such as Windows, web design Programs, word processing, spreadsheets, statistical analysis, e-mail and Internet

Client Service Orientation: Help or serve others to meet their needs. This implies anticipating and identifying the needs of internal and external clients and finding solutions on how to meet them.

Contract of approximately two years. Eligibility to benefits and union affiliation will be determined upon hiring.

Schedule with an average of 35hrs/week. The incumbent may be called in to work evenings and weekends.
