Position Purpose

Is responsible for processing data relating to payroll for residents and the implementation thereof in the best conditions. Facilitates the transmission of financial reports to be produced as part of his/her activities. Provides supports during the transmission of various financial reports.

Essential Qualifications

Knowledge of accounting principles and administration normally acquired through postsecondary education or equivalent experience
General knowledge of the " PARO Agreement"
Knowledge and experience in the interpretation and application of the methods of the university
Experience in handling sensitive and confidential data
Experience in the use of computerized systems and software such as Windows , Spreadsheets , word processing , email and internet .
Familiarity with the use of payroll software (Nethris or similar ) and the payroll processing
Understanding of the payroll function as well as its automated processing
Attention to detail and good analytical skills
Ability to work independently, under pressure and to organize work according to strict deadlines
Interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to be a resource person to various stakeholders in the treatment / payment of wages and sending reports
Bilingualism — English/French (spoken and written)

Note

Contract of approximately 12 months, with possibility of renewal. Eligibility to benefits and union affiliation will be determined upon hiring.
