Job Description Facilities Manager

Job Overview:
Oversee the maintenance and services of Distribution Center and respective locations.

• Oversee the maintenance and services of Distribution Center and respective locations.
• Manage relationship with outside service and maintenance vendors.
• Negotiate service agreements and contracts for outside services.
• Develop and manage recycle and waste management programs.
• Perform weekly tests of generators.
• Identify cost savings opportunities.
• Assist in developing a loss prevention strategy.
• Act as primary key holder. (Requires on call 24/7)
• Manage the maintenance of the warehouse power equipment fleet.
• Maintain and improve the building security systems.
• Assist in developing an environment friendly culture.
• Work with Health and Safety Manager and J.H.S.C to promote and maintain a safe working environment.
• This position oversees the maintenance of buildings and systems required to ensure a consistent level of appearance and sustainability to comply with Noble’s corporate standards and image as well as industry/equipment standards for operation and maintenance. The position utilizes a combination of internal employees and contractors to perform the work.
• The scope of the work includes the responsibility for security, maintenance and improvements of the Jane and respective locations including maintenance of building components, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, lunchrooms

• Post-Secondary education in Security, Logistics, Business, Vocational training, trade school, 2-year technical college degree, certifications, Electrician license, or other experience related to building or facilities maintenance field.
• Operational experience in warehousing and logistics in a leadership role, 3-5 years.
• Broad range of experience in project management, business planning, process analysis, and systems.
• Strong relationship management, influence and consensus building skills.
• Experience working in developing processes to support a sustainable culture.
• Ability to engage with senior executives and hourly staff.
• Broad range of experience in project management, business planning and process analysis.
• Must have a “Can Do” winning attitude.
• Proven experience delivering results in a matrix-managed, distributed corporate environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly within a decentralized corporate environment.
• Experience developing a PM program and utilizing a software application.
