About the position:
As a Software Developer within the Digital Workflow and MachineLogic team, you will design and implement web-based applications to automate industrial machines - from simulating in the Cloud, all the way to operating on the shopfloor.
You will have the opportunity to show ownership over the implementation of our products, interacting with various stakeholders, guiding our technical decisions, organizing your work, and bringing your projects to completion. Every day will greet you with new challenges, and we hope you will have fun taking them up!
More specifically, you will:
• Join a team of 3 amazing software developers.
• Do full stack web development (Javascript), hands on: implementing the back-end engine needed to interact with the existing tech stack, as well as our graphical user interfaces that allow customers to interact with their industrial machine in a code-free way.
• Taylor your solution to various environments: simulating in our online CAD, as well as running on our standalone motion controllers.
• Guide our technical decision and architect our code stack.
• Participate in the design of the user experience, collaborating with various teams (product team, UI/UX team, QA team, etc.)
Qualifications
• Programming languages: Javascript (NodeJS, jQuery, React)
• Strong sense of responsibility, to show ownership over full, end-to-end solutions
• Love of new challenges and ability to work in fast-paced environment
• A genuine interest for UI/UX
• Understanding of distributed system design and the related technical challenges
• Experience in designing responsive systems (embedded and cloud/web)

Title: Senior Software Develoer
Location: The head office is located at Montréal, QC H4C 1L8
Work model: Hybrid, 3 days in office (the first month is on office to get ramped up)
Type of position: Full time and permanent
Salary: To be discussed but roughly around 120-140k with flexibility to go higher + Benefits + 4 weeks vacation + Stock Options.
